Dylan Bram is a percussionist, educator, and arranger based in Columbus, Ohio. He currently serves as a front ensemble instructor with Matrix Performing Arts, and 2018 will mark his second year with the Regiment. Dylan was a member of Matrix World for four years and spent two summers touring as a member of the GLASSMEN Drum and Bugle Corps. He has served on staff with both Matrix World and Matrix Open, and in 2016 he took part in Matrix International’s clinic and performance tour in Chaiyi City, Taiwan. Dylan also works as a percussion instructor and arranger for various high school marching bands and indoor percussion groups, spending most of his time working with Olentangy High School and Hilliard Bradley High School. He performs regularly as a jazz vibraphonist and percussionist. Included among his various projects is a regular concert series at the Ohio State University’s James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute. Dylan holds a Bachelor’s degree in music from The Ohio State University, where he studied jazz improvisation and composition with Kris Johnson. Other teachers include Jerry Noble, Jim Rupp, and Rob Ferguson.
