Mark Moreno brings over 15 years of experience to the marching arts activity. From color guard performing arts to designing drill, his overall involvement in the marching arts spans all possible areas of design. Mark was a member of Fantasia Winter Guard from Riverside, CA and the group was awarded the Bronze Medal at the Winter Guard International Championships. He also performed with the renowned color guard ensemble as a member of the Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps of Concord, CA, and in 2003, the corps was named World Champions at Drum Corps International Finals.
Following his years of performing, Mark began applying his skills in the marching arts in the areas of program coordination, drill design, and graphic design. Moreno has worked with several established programs across the country. Past experience in drill design, program and color guard coordination in the highly competitive state of Texas has provided an ideal environment to develop Moreno’s design skills. Berkner High School (Richardson, TX), Connally High School (Austin, TX), and Ronald Reagan High School (San Antonio, TX) each provide a strong example of the programs Mark has worked with.
Mark’s graphic design experience and involvement in pageantry has allowed him to develop a “concept to reality” presentation of marching band productions. He is the graphic designer and principal visual designer for Beyond Marching.
Currently, Mark resides in Cincinnati, OH and has been the color guard coordinator for the BOA Grand National Finalist, William Mason High School since 2011.
