The NIU Concert Band Festival, presented by the Phantom Regiment is this Friday – March 1st from 9am to 3:30pm. Family, fans & friends are welcome to attend this free festival.
This is the 2nd annual concert band festival held in the beautiful Boutell Memorial Concert Hall on he campus of Northern Illinois University. The festival is open to middle and high school groups. Plus, there will be a special performance by the NIU Wind Symphony.
This is an educational non-competitive festival where the students will be heard by: Major Bryan Miller (Air National Guard Band of the Midwest), Steve Squires (Roosevelt University) and Dr. Thomas Bough (Northern Illinois University).
This event is FREE and open to the public. We only ask that you respect each groups performance by only entering the concert hall between performances. (There is a fee for parking and it’s a short walk away – so plan ahead).

Phantom Regiment is once again selling tickets for the Drum Corps International Championships August 8-10, 2013 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Buy your tickets now.
We also have a block of rooms at the Regiment HQ hotel – Indianapolis Marriott Downtown. This is the same hotel that our end of season Celebration Brunch will be at as well.
So you can purchase your DCI World Championship Tickets; reserve your Indy hotel; and purchase your ticket to the end of season Celebration Brunch all at the same time!
To find more information, just visit this easy to remember website: regiment.org/indy
Over the previous 5 years that we have offered DCI tickets, our block has continued to grow in numbers. The support from our phans has been tremendous! The corps members can’t thank you enough for your support at their biggest show of the year.
Besides sitting with other Regiment fans, you will be participating in one of our biggest fundraisers! The Regiment earns commissions on all tickets sold through us! Ticket prices are the same face value as set by DCI and we are only adding a nominal ticketing convenience fee of $5.00 per ticket (a savings of 33% from other ticket outlets).
We hope we can count on your presence and support again this upcoming August at Lucas Oil Stadium!
The payment options in our online store have been expanded to include PayPal and Google Wallet now. So along with Visa, MasterCard and Discover- you have two new options when shopping with the Regiment online!
We have added a section to our online store for used flags & equipment, which currently contains our used flags, but will soon contain brass & percussion equipment.
For those band director and winter guard directors, this will become a great place to pick up some used equipment and great prices.
Currently, we have a large stock of flags on sale. Including some from the infamous Spartacus show.
With the flags, our goal is to sell them in sets. But if alumni or phans are interested, there is a section where you can place an order for an individual flag, but your order will only be processed when we have enough individual orders to complete a set. Therefore, you’re credit card (unless you’re using PayPal) won’t be charged until we process your order.

As we finish closing out the books on 2012, we wanted to give one last shout out and thank you to all those who contributed during your year end campaign. We were able to meet our goal with your help! Thank you!
The lapel pins, mugs and other gifts are being ordered and will be sent soon to those that requested them.
THANK YOU to our year end donors:
