We’ve had our day for giving thanks. We’ve had two days for getting shopping deals. Today, we have #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back! We’re calling on our village of people to show your Regiment support on this #GivingTuesday and donate today.
You can participate in #GivingTuesday and support the Phantom Regiment in two ways:
1) DONATE- Simply choose to make a tax-deductible contribution quickly and easily.
You could make a onetime donation, a monthly donation for the next 12 months, or a quarterly donation of the next 4 quarters. Your support will help us to achieve our goals for our annual year-end campaign! Your support is how we provide a life-changing experience for the young people in our programs. (Read more about our current programs in this letter from our executive director here).
To donate, click on the button above or visit regiment.org/givingtuesday
If you’d rather just mail in a check, you can do so by making it payable & sending to:
420 N Main St
Rockford, IL 61103
2) VOLUNTEER- The Regiment has the best volunteers in the world!
We would not be as successful on or off the road without them. Join our volunteer team – whether it’s a day in Rockford, or a month on the road. We have plenty of opportunities; not only in Rockford, but also in any of the cities the drum corps visits during the summer.
We can’t thank you enough for your support!
Now in its fifth year, #GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. Observed on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving. Since its inaugural year in 2012, #GivingTuesday has become a movement that celebrates and supports giving and philanthropy with events throughout the year and a growing catalog of resources.
You can participate in #GivingTuesday by giving your time, resources or talents to the Phantom Regiment in a few ways. Your support goes a long way in helping us to provide a life-changing experience for the young people in our programs.read more
