Daniel Treuman, a native of Atlanta, Georgia, earned his Bachelors Degree in Music Education from the University of Georgia. While at UGA, Daniel studied euphonium under Mr. David Zerkel and conducting under Dr. Gregg Gausline, Dr. Michael Robinson, and Dr. John Lynch. Daniel is currently in his first year as the Assistant Director of Bands at Collins Hill High School in Suwanee, Georgia. The Collins Hill Band serves more than 300 students through four concert ensembles, marching band, basketball band, jazz ensembles, three winterguards, indoor marching percussion ensemble, and various chamber groups. Daniel marched as a Euphonium player in the Phantom Regiment from 2007-2009 before serving as an assistant tour manager in the summer of 2010. This will be Daniel’s first summer as a member of the Phantom Regiment Brass Staff. Professional Associations include the Georgia Music Educators Association, Music Educators National Conference and the National Band Association.
