The Phantom Regiment’s first Fall Marching Band Festival was a resounding success.
Six bands from northern Illinois participated: Machesney Park Harlem, Crystal Lake Prairie Ridge, Oswego, Metamora, Maple Park Kaneland and Sycamore.
They performed in a noncompetitive format in front of an enthusiastic and appreciative audience at Harlem High School. There was beautiful weather, too, as the sun shined on a perfect 75-degree day.
