Josh Scott

Josh Scott is currently the Assistant Band Director at Round Rock High School, in Round Rock, Texas. Scott has served as a music teacher and clinician since 2004 in Indiana, Texas and most recently Arizona. Previous to Round Rock High School, Scott was the Assistant to Bands at Jeffersonville High School in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Since 2007, Mr. Scott has served as a visual and brass instructor with the Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps, where he was a member from 2003-2006. Previously he has taught with the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps (Dubuque, Iowa), The Academy Drum and Bugle Corps (Tempe, Arizona), the Arizona State Sun Devil Marching Band, numerous high school marching and concert band programs, and was the conductor for Sonic BOOM, a community tuba and euphonium ensemble in Tempe, Arizona.
Scott holds performance degrees from Butler University (Bachelor of Music, 2007) and Arizona State University (Master of Music, 2012). Some of his teachers and mentors include Dr. Robert Grechesky, Melissa Williams, Sam Pilafian, Gary Hill, and Dr. Wayne Bailey.
While not teaching, Scott enjoys outdoor activities (running, hiking, biking, etc.), cooking, traveling, and music festivals.
