Josh Scott
Brass Instructor
Send Josh an email.
Josh, an alumnus circa 2003-2006 and a graduate from Butler University, is currently working towards a Masters In Euphonium Performance at Arizona State University studying with world renowned tubist, Sam Pilafian. A long time educator, his experiences cover a wide variety of organizations. From the fall of 2008 to the fall of 2010, Josh was the Assistant Band Director at Jeffersonville High School in southern Indiana. In addition to his teaching experience in a high school setting, he has been teaching music/marching band/drum corps since 2004. He has worked with Ben Davis High School, Warren Central High School, Desert Vista High School, Gilbert Elementary, Sonic Boom (a local community tuba/euphonium ensemble, which I lead), Sun Devil Marching Band (ASU), ASU Concert Band, Colts Drum and Bugle Corps and The Academy Drum and Bugle Corps.
Josh has been on staff with the Regiment since 2007 serving as a visual tech through 2010 (with a one year hiatus in 2009). He is very excited about being a part of the brass staff this summer and hopes to bring his experience and knowledge to the already longstanding tradition of great horn staff at the Regiment.
