Laura has been involved with arts since she first picked up the trumpet in 5th grade. Attending her first drum corps show in Murfreesboro, TN in 2000, she knew she wanted to march in a drum corps. She got her chance with the Phantom Regiment and marched in 2001-2003 & 2006. Once in college, Laura thought she was going to major in Music Education, but ended up changing to a Music Business degree. She also found a job with the local college theatre and added a Theatre Degree late in the game. Laura finished at Illinois State University with a Music Business and Theatre Production Design Degree.

Wanting to do something behind the scenes or event related, Laura searched for a job in her field. After a few months, she hit the road with Disney on Ice as a lighting technician. She has traveled to many countries for work that include Canada, China, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Russia. Currently, Laura is an electrician for the National Broadway Tour of Fiddler on the Roof.

In 2011, Laura’s schedule finally opened up to help out the Phantom Regiment during their move-in period. Truly enjoying the behind the scenes work, she went on tour as one of the Assistant Tour Managers to help the corps move down the road. Laura is looking forward to another exciting season working with the Phantom Regiment.
