Phantom Regiment Academy introduced as umbrella over all educational programming

Phantom Regiment has been a leader in performing arts education since its first drum major camp in 2003. Since that time, it has expanded to include brass, percussion and color guard camps as well as drum major camps all over the country. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused everyone to rethink how it provides education opportunities, and it was obvious the organization needed to do more. Phantom Regiment Academy is the name for all the organization’s educational programming from the existing in-person camps for which Phantom Regiment has become well-known to new virtual versions of those camps to new leadership camp [... How You Can Help

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kU0a2kycLa0&feature=youtu.be On March 26th, the Drum Corps International community collectively announced the cancellation of the 2020 drum corps season. Our hearts are with our young performers, staff, and the thousands of supporters who make Phantom Regiment the highlight of the summer season. This is the biggest challenge to face our organization since our corps hall was destroyed by fire in 1964. We came back stronger after the fire. We will come back stronger after this. Many have reached out to ask how you can help, and we are grateful for the countless messages of support and generosity. Here are three [... Read More]

Thoughts From Our Members

After the devastating announcement last week that the 2020 drum corps season had been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we reached out to a few members to hear what they thought of the situation. Here's what they had to say; "This summer would have been my 5th and final summer with my Phamily. I have found love, belonging, confidence, and resilience, among so many other amazing things. It's tough for me to pick a favorite moment as often, I do not even realize how special a moment is until much, much later. I think the summer of 2019 was [... Read More]

COVID-19 Concerns Lead to Cancellation of Summer Tour

To our alumni, fans, donors and the entire Phantom Regiment family: It has been an incredibly difficult past several weeks. We all have the same concerns about the coronavirus. It’s been near-impossible to avoid hearing about it every day. Those concerns led Phantom Regiment and other drum corps to cancel their March camps. As the concerns intensified, plans were in place to alter April camps and Drum Corps International had prepared for a July start to a shortened season. Unfortunately, because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Drum Corps International and its member drum corps organizations have now decided to cancel [... Read More]
