Phantom Regiment is searching for a certified athletic trainer for the 2023 summer tour.

The Athletic Trainer works alongside the rest of the Health Team to help to keep our performers safe and in optimal health. Our student-athletes include 160+ brass, percussion, and guard performers ages 16-22.

Tour coverage can be split among multiple athletic trainers based on the need for medical personnel throughout the season, but it is preferred to have one AT for continuity of care. Spring training starts May 19, 2023, in Charleston, IL. The 2023 summer tour starts on June 28 and ends Aug 12, 2023.

Job Description: 
Demonstrate the ability to provide injury and illness prevention, wellness promotion and education, emergent care, examination and clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention, and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions as set forth by the NATA board of certification standards of practice.


  • Graduate of a NATA/BOC accredited school for Athletic Training specialization/major or minor, with a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Possession of a current Illinois Athletic Trainer license or willingness to acquire
  • Current CPR certification
  • AED-trained and certified
