Phantom Regiment, Illinois State University, University of Illinois, VanderCook College of Music, and The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps are excited to announce a new educational partnership entitled the Illinois Band Collaborative (IBC).
The IBC will leverage the collective expertise and experience of each institution’s professional educators to share best practices for band instruction in the urban, suburban, and rural communities that encompass the state of Illinois and beyond. Presentations will cover a variety of topics including, but not limited to pedagogy, musicianship, leadership, professional development, and wellness. The IBC will also actively seek input from practicing band directors on the topics and issues most relevant to their own situations and experiences with a focus on all communities and levels of teaching. These monthly presentations are generously sponsored by MusicFirst.
Please join us Tuesday April 25 at 8:00 PM for the IBC’s first live webinar featuring: Phantom Regiment’s Todd Snead and Kate Ferguson, along with Scott Casagrande, Barry Houser, Alex Kaminsky, Tony Marinello, and Monte Mast. Register via the link below.
