Regiment mourns the loss of an original member

Phantom Regiment mourns the loss of an original member, Jackie Haddad, who passed away November 14, 2013. Jackie was one of the original Phantomettes, color guard of the corps when it was formed in 1956. She was the daughter of Alex Haddad, the founder of the corps.

As an example of the lifelong friendships engendered in drum corps, a potluck group of original Phantomettes continues to meet regularly. Jackie will be deeply missed by all her Phantomettes friends as well as all those who marched with her in the Phantom Regiment.

Visitation is taking place on Sunday, November 17, 12-3pm at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home at Riverside & Rockton. The memorial service will at 3pm.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Haddad family.
