Rocco Duranti
Visual Instructor
Rocco Duranti currently resides in Akron, Ohio, where he works with the Firestone and Norton High School Bands and Indoor Percussion programs. Rocco is a graduate of Bowling Green State University where he received his Bachelors of Music in Music Education.
Starting his drum corps career in 2009 with the Glassmen Drum and Bugle Corps, Rocco marched four consecutive seasons aging out in 2012. After aging out, Rocco joined the Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps visual staff for the 2013 and 2014 seasons.
Since 2011 Rocco has been heavily involved with WGI, marching on the cymbal line at Matrix Percussion from 2011 to 2013. For Matrix s 2014 season, Rocco was a part of the instructional and administrative team, and will do so again in the upcoming 2015 season.
Rocco is very excited to be joining the Phantom Regiment instructional staff for the 2015 season!
