Jennifer Hepp is currently finishing up her studies at Northwestern University pursuing degrees in music education, trumpet performance and journalism. In the past four years, she has had the privilege of studying trumpet under Dave Bilger, Channing Philbrick, Tom Rolfs, Michael Sachs and Bob Sullivan. During her time at Northwestern, she has performed in multiple university ensembles including three years with the Symphonic Wind Ensemble, directed by Dr. Mallory Thompson. She also performed as an associate member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago for their 2018-2019 season.
As a music educator, Jennifer has spent recent summers teaching at fine arts camps, participating in wind band conducting symposia and serving as a music and visual technician for high school marching bands. She also marched with Phantom Regiment in 2016 as the featured trumpet soloist. This will be her second summer serving on the brass staff for the corps.
