Josiah Marinos

Josiah Marinos is pushing towards heading to Florida State University in the Spring of 2018 for a Bachelors in Music and a Minor in Business. This will be a degree in Commercial Music.

Josiah grew up in Pembroke Pines, Florida and after moving around a couple times found home in Jacksonville, Florida in a town named Fleming Island, where he currently is to this day.

He is there teaching at Fleming Island High School, where he attended as well. He is the Drum Major, Brass, and Visual technician for them. He also is the Orchestra director for his church. Leading rehearsals on Sunday and Wednesday nights.

During the weekends Josiah spends his time either teaching Fleming Island at their competition or he is judging a competition, as the Drum Major Judge.

Josiah has three years of Drum Corps experience. All three years spent as a Drum Major/Conductor. Two years with the Spirit of Atlanta (one year, in 2015, as an assistant Drum Major and one year, in 2016, as the Head Drum Major.) Then he spent his age out with the Phantom Regiment as our Head Conductor for the 2017 season.

Josiah plans to pursue music by going into Commercial Music. To take that to a big named label to work with artist with natural talent and help them make their brand better and help make them the best musicians they can be.
