Vance Anderson


Vance Anderson is 23 years old and currently resides in Orlando, Florida. He began his journey through the marching arts as an wind player in his high school marching band for the first few years of high school and made the switch to colorguard during his junior year of high school at Fort Walton Beach High School. He finished out his high school Colorguard career with the Choctawhatchee World Guard in 2014. After high school he relocated to Orlando, Florida and was a member of the UCF Pegasus World Guard where he was a captain for three out of his total five years marching there (2015-2019).

Beyond winterguard, Vance was a member of the 2015 Carolina Crown Colorguard as well as the 2017 Boston Crusaders Colorguard. Most recently Vance was a member of the Visual Ensemble in the 2019 Production of “Blast! The Music of Disney” which toured across Japan over the duration of the 2019 summer. Alongside his marching career Vance has also spent the past few years sharing his love for the activity by working with high schools and independent programs in the local Tampa and Orlando areas. On the scholastic level he has worked with the Lake Nona High School, J.W. Mitchell High School, and Timber Creek High School Colorguards. Outside of high school programs, Vance has worked with the Pegasus A, Open, and World Guards from Orlando, Florida and has also spent a summer as a staff member for the Phantom Regiment Colorguard in 2018. Vance is currently working towards a degree in Health Science at the University of Central Florida. He is also spending his winter as instructional staff for the Timber Creek High School, J.W. Mitchell High School, and Pegasus A and World colorguards.

Vance is ecstatic to be back alongside this staff and can’t wait for year two with the PRCG!
