The PHANtastic High School Honor Band celebrates excellence by showcasing high school performers at the Midwest’s premier summer drum corps event. 

Participating students will enjoy a day of instruction from nationally-recognized clinicians then perform side-by-side with the Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps and NIU Marching Band at Huskie Stadium in DeKalb, IL.

Who: For high school band and color guard students (rising grades 9-12 and 2025 graduates)

When: Saturday, July 26, 2025

Where: Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, IL

What: Join us for a day of learning from world-class instructors, interacting with current drum corps members, and performing side-by-side on the field with the Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps and the NIU Marching Band.

Registration Fee: $75 – includes instruction, music, PHANtastic T-shirt, lunch, dinner voucher, and 1 ticket to the Midwest Classic drum corps show at NIU’s Huskie Stadium

Additional Tickets: $50 Family & Friends Packages include a supporter t-shirt and discounted tickets in the reserved PHANtastic seating block for the event.
