Phantom Regiment will be hosting an open house meeting at its April camp to discuss the organization’s protection policies (including discrimination, harassment, and whistleblower) with the executive director and members of the board of directors.

The meeting will cover the current policies that have been in place for numerous years, as well as revisions that have been made since attending an informative DCI Annual Meeting in January with other organization’s board of directors. The organization is always looking to improve its policies and practices.

Phantom Regiment is an organization that welcomes diversity. Additionally, it wants to provide an environment that is safe and free of harassment of any sort for all, but especially its students.

After a board of directors’ retreat in January of 2017, the organization updated its mission, vision, and values:

Vision: An inspired community of empowered and passionate leaders.

Mission: Providing life-changing experiences through performing arts education.

Values: Phamily; Quality; Innovation; Character; and Stability

The Phantom Regiment Board of Directors and the organization’s management, as well as its educational staff, take the health and safety of all students very seriously.

The meeting will take place at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 28 at Beloit Memorial High School, 1225 W. Fourth St., Beloit, Wis. For more information and the complete camp schedule: regiment.org/camp
